Biography
Matthew practices the defense of workers’ compensation, general liability, and employment law claims in Illinois and federal courts. His general liability practice includes construction negligence, construction defect, wrongful death, personal injury, premises liability, auto liability, asbestos liability, breach of contract, insurance subrogation, and appellate review. Matthew obtained his undergraduate degree in history and legal studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015. He obtained his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2018. While earning his law degree, Matthew served with the Health Justice Project legally advocating for indigent clients in federal court. He is a Member of the State Bar of Illinois as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
When Matthew is not in the courtroom or buried in a case file, he enjoys reading, travelling, and skiing. His favorite novel is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
